The government of Pakistan has announced public holidays from June 27 to July 1, 2023 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. The dates are tentative and subject to change depending on the sighting of the moon.

Eid-ul-Adha is one of the most important festivals in the Islamic calendar. It is a time for Muslims to celebrate the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham). On this day, Muslims sacrifice an animal, such as a sheep or goat, and distribute the meat to the poor and needy.

The public holidays will give people in Pakistan a chance to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha with their families and friends. They will also be able to take part in the religious observances associated with the festival.

I hope you have a happy and blessed Eid-ul-Adha!
